Lost access to Microsoft Authenticator. How to do re-setup of authetication?

I was trying to sign in with a company email, which requested me to authenticate using Microsoft Authenticator.
However, the authenticator was removed from my Microsoft Authenticator, which means I no longer have access to any code that might have been sent to me.
How do I resolve this if I need to re-setup the Authenticator. Was stuck in a chicken-egg situation.
