In Azure DevOps I can no longer extend the expiration date of a Personal Access Token PAT

Within Azure DevOps, I used to be able to edit my PATs and pick a new expiration date in the future to extend the PAT. I can still edit the PAT but unable to pick a new date in the future. The MS documentation still makes reference to changing the expiration date https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/devops/organizations/accounts/use-personal-access-tokens-to-authenticate?view=azure-devops&tabs=Windows#modify-a-pat

What am I missing??

    According to Microsoft Support:

    Hello Paul,

I have checked this internally and they confirmed that the capacity to extend the lifetime of the token is blocked for every org, according to the changes made by PG (Product Group), the agreement was not to allow the extending to maintain security at high levels.

Customers who want an expiration date past that date are expected to regenerate token, not update token.

    Hope that helps.
