We are testing the use of OneDrive policies to automatically add some sharepoints library to our Windows clients. The feature is working in this side, library gets synced correctly into Windows OneDrive.

But this GPO (TenantAutoMount) also state that user cannot stop syncing or remove this sync folder, but when we are testing this, we can remove the folder sync without any issues or any prompt saying its not allowed.

So i don't understand why the GPO description said this.

If you enable this setting, the OneDrive sync app automatically syncs the contents of the libraries you specified as online-only files the next time the user signs in. The user isn't able to stop syncing the libraries.

So how this works? The GPO is success at adding syncing automatically the libraries but user is also able to stop the syncing.
