Hello everyone, I have a windows server 2022 std, where I have an Active Directory configured and a folder is being shared. This folder has several users, some who can do everything and others with restricted access (security tab and advanced options)
For users with restricted access, they can create and modify files, but not delete them. For this create 2 access rules (allow and deny).
Doing tests, users could create files or upload files to the server folder and also if they entered the file they could edit it, regardless of who created it... but I did the tests with .txt files, when I tried to do the same with .docx files the problem appeared, they could no longer edit them, alia access denied.
It is as if the system, when saving a word, tried to delete it and create a new one with the new information inside.
Is there any way that if the user has special access to read and edit the files allowed and access denied to delete, he can make changes to the word files?
