Hello everyone, lately, I've been using Excel with some problems, because It's hard for me to find certain formulas that fit in the things that I need to find and create.

My problem is the next, I want to create a formula that allows me to see how many times a given number is repeated in one table then the other and then another, so on and so forth, I want to exemplify it. My number is "2234567", what I know it's that this value is repeated 15 times, but in each table I don't know how many times it is repeated, so in table 1 maybe it's repated once or twice, I don't know and that's what I want to know, so the formula should allow me to know the next thing, if repated twice 15/2, after finding it in one table, I want to conservate the value of the previous formula (that is to say, 15/2), the next table the formula finds that is repated once, it'll be 15/3 and so on and so forth, untill it reaches 15 times, so in conclusion the formula needs to conservate the given value of a table, and be able to add more to that value but taking into accound every individual table.

I hope this makes sense, if not, I'd be explain again.

Images to show the examples above, please consider the thing that I mentioned which is the value should conserve the previous result to be used in the next table and so on and so forth, thank you very mucho beforehand. asd

EXAMPLE OF WHAT I SAID.

    Hello Miguel,

From what you have described, I believe the formula you are looking for in the COUNTIF. Essentially COUNTIF will allow you to Count a particular number in a ranged, based on what criteria you want, then you can combine multiple COUNTIFs to give you the result that you want. Example as below:User's image

    Hope this helps.
