Changing Language Email Notification SharePoint Online

Hi All,

We are currently using SharePoint online, and our company is a multi-country company. we have a problem when there is an email notification from ******@sharepointonline.com the email we receive is in Indonesian not English. is there any method that can be done to change the language on the email notification from ******@sharepointonline.com?

From your description, I understand you want to only set notification language in English and keep SharePoint site language in Indonesian.

Unfortunately, notification language is set and decided by the site language, so it's not available to achieve this requirement. Really sorry for the inconvenience.

Click on Settings gear Icon -> Click on Site Information -> View All Site Settings -> Language Settings under the Site Administration section.

This is application behaviour that negatively impacts multi-national sites managed by English speaking publishers. Regardless of the site language, publishing could be supported by staff of many languages. I recommend Microsoft continue to look into this challenge and provide the option of delivering notifications in a language of choice, regardless of the set site language.
