Can we make an alert if specific resource (example VM-1) consume cost more than $100?

    Yes, you can!

    You can create an Azure Budget and set the filter to the Resource ID of the specific resource (or resources).

    Depending on the resource, you can also set up an alert based on Tags, or select multiple resource ID - as a Virtual Machine, it contains the disks, Network interface etc.

    Hello @Handian Sudianto

    Yes, you can create budget alert for specific resource. Under Budget scoping, select the filter as resourceID or resourceGUID both can be fetched from the resource overview page, doing that the value section will show all the resourceIds and you can select the one you want and proceed.

    If you wish to create for a specific category of resource like VM/storage , you can go by meter category filter type.
