I am getting many esent errors and poor performance on Windows 11. The Event log is pointing at access denied errors for the indexedDB.edb file. My daily user account is attempting to access the indexeddb file in the administrator profile so of course it is being denied access. How do I get windows to use the indexeddb file in my own profile where I have full permissions?

Hi. Thank you for your question and reaching out. I’d be more than happy to help you with your query

To get Windows to use the indexedDB.edb file in your own profile, you will need to change the permissions on the file. To do this, you will need to open File Explorer, navigate to the file, right-click on it, and select Properties. Then, select the Security tab and click on the Edit button. Here, you will be able to modify the permissions and add your user account. Make sure that your account has Full Control permissions for the file, then click OK. After that, you should be able to access the indexedDB.edb file in your own profile.
