I've set up more than 30 dedicated Android devices in Intune & customized only few apps on the desktop screen using Multi app model.

Intune creates an incident ID - IT517329 for our tenant, and the recommended solution is to upgrade the company portal app; otherwise, it states that some Android devices may no longer be compliant and would be unable to access corporate resources,

Action Needed

Recommendations: To prevent user impact, instruct Android users of the Company Portal app to update the Company Portal to the latest version, either from Google Play (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.microsoft.windowsintune.companyportal&hl=en_US&gl=US) or from Microsoft Download Center (https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=49140). Users should be on at least Company Portal version 5.0.5662.0. Additional Diagnostics

Do we have any options for auto-updates instead of asking users to manually update the app via Google Play?

The issue is that we have already delivered all 30+ devices to various locations. It is little challenges to ask the user to perform the update on their own.

Sorry to double check. I've already turned on "App auo-updates" feature.

Is this choice incompatible with android dedicated device?

For this issue we turn on "Auto-Updates" within the Google Play store, it will ensure that the company portal app will always have the latest version on the device. Please refer to this article.

Or we can set this setting "App auto-updates (work profile-level)" to "always" in an Android Enterprise device restriction policy.

@MJ Sorry, I forgot this setting before. To avoid misleading others, I will modify my answer. This setting can automatically update apps. It is compatible with android dedicated device.

Is there a recommendation for handling Teams phones that are based on Android, since the Company Portal is baked into the firmware? All our phones switched to a non compliant state.
