RDMA on Windows 10

Question

We can use verbs API to program RDMA on Linux. How to program RDMA on Windows 10?

We can find some information about "Network Direct SPI", and it refers interfaces like INDAdapter, INDCompletionQueue.

We can find example code at https://github.com/microsoft/NetworkDirect

The example code uses interfaces like IND2Adapter, IND2CompletionQueue. But these interfaces are not referred in "Network Direct SPI".

What should I use? IND2Adapter or INDAdapter?

You should use the IND2Adapter and IND2CompletionQueue interfaces if you are programming RDMA on Windows 10, as these are the interfaces used in the Network Direct SPI version 2. The INDAdapter and INDCompletionQueue interfaces are part of the Network Direct SPI version 1, which is not supported on Windows 10.

I also have similar kind of question. I am able to use the INDAdapter interface on Windows 10(is it deprecated or not recommended?). Where can we find the references for IND2Adapter and IND2CompletionQueue interfaces? It's not in the "Network Direct SPI". Also, is it possible to configure Infini Band protocol on Windows 10?
