How long does it take for a device to report its Windows 11 capability to the Work from Anywhere blade in Endpoint Analytics? Meaning, after enrollment, how long should I expect to wait until I can see a device report their hardware capabilities?

@Greg Arnold, Thanks for posting in Q&A.

Based on my research, A device is considered active and will appear in the Work from anywhere report if it has uploaded at least one Endpoint analytics event, such as a boot, sign-in, or application crash event, in the past 29 days.

Please check if there's any Endpoint analytics event in the portal.

@Greg Arnold, Thanks for the reply. After researching more, I find the data will be collected by deploying the Intune data collection policy, which should be a built-in device configuration policy that assigned to all devices by default.

    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/mem/analytics/data-collection

For this Endpoint analytics report, we will advise that ensure the devices are correctly assigned the “Client Health Monitoring” policy. We are based on the health agent to gather device status to the report. The Endpoint Analytics reports for Work from Anywhere is based on Intune to deploy a health monitor policy with its client agent to gather necessary data for the reports.

Maybe you can check when the “Intune data collection policy" and “Client Health Monitoring” policy are deployed to the device to get more information.

    Hope it can help.

    Hello there,

A device is considered active and will appear in the Work from anywhere report if it has uploaded at least one Endpoint analytics event, such as a boot, sign-in, or application crash event, in the past 29 days.

Device compliance trend reports are more likely to be used by admins and architects to identify long term trends for device compliance. The aggregated data is displayed over a period of time. It's useful for making future investment decisions, driving process improvements, or prompting investigation into any anomalies.
