Is anyone else finding the Synapse UI environment to be shockingly poor? After every modification I make in a notebook, I have to wait 5-odd seconds before it 1) prints what I typed or 2) I can move on to somewhere else... it's currently making it very unworkable

This is happening in Chrome and Edge so would seem to be the UI - validating the entire script after every change?

I am sorry you are having trouble with the Synapse UI. From my end, we haven't noticed any issues with the UI.

Did you encounter any error messages when you saw the performance issues? If yes, could you please share it with us?

No, it just performs poorly... almost certainly appears to be something like it is constantly validating the script and on larger scripts, that doesn't work too well

Thank you for the details. I checked with my internal team, and they haven't noticed this issue from other customers. It seems like this issue is specific to your workspace/Network.

If you are still seeing the UI performance issues, I would suggest filing a support request, and the support engineer can take a deeper look into the backend logs to troubleshoot the issue. If you don't have a support plan, I can enable one-time free support for you to work with the support team.

The issue went away with a reduction in size of the notebook... as said previously, it's almost certainly constant validation of the code that's causing the issue
