Hi @Charles Stenley
Could you please tell us which version of Office are you using now?
Do you want to roll back to old version number?
If you are using Microsoft 365 Apps, Office 2019 or Office 2021, you may run command to install pervious one.
- Such as for 64-bit Microsoft 365 Apps, please press Win + R key. Then enter
"C:\Program Files\Common Files\microsoft shared\ClickToRun\officec2rclient.exe" /update user updatetoversion=16.0.xxxxx.xxxxx
. - "xxxxx.xxxxx" means Build number.
- For details of Build number, I suggest you checkout 'Update history for Microsoft 365 Apps (listed by date)'.
For example, Version 2301 (Build 16026.20200), the Build number is "16026.20200", and the command is
---updatetoversion=16.0.16026.20200
. - Please also note, the rollback version number needs to be consistent with the update channel in Office apps.
Any updates, welcome to post back.
