Outlook stops working when retrieving data from Exchange server

Outlook is working strangely for a week now. When I try to open an inbox of a shared mailbox it just stops working. Also, depending on some options it will stay loading when starting for a good 5 or more minutes.

Things I already did:

  • Office repair, both offline and online.
  • Office reinstallation.
  • Executing scanpst.exe.
  • Executing outlook in safe mode.
  • Executing outlook /resetnavpane.
  • Creating a new profile and start Outlook with it.
  • Deactivate all options related to Exchange Server, even for mailboxes.

I also did other things but honestly I don't really remember.

Some things seem to change for the better but in the end it is not working properly as it should.

I just ran out of ideas. I'm not 100% sure but I think this started happening since last update.

    In order to troubleshoot, please also help confirm the following information:

    1. What mail system are you using? Please specify the specific version.
    2. Is it possible to open the shared mailbox normally in OWA?
    3. What mode does Outlook client use? Cached or online?

     

    It is recommended that you could try removing the recipient permissions for the shared mailbox and wait some time to re-add it to see if that works.
