Edge Translate not visible

Yesterday, Edge Translate for a SPO site worked as expected. The translate icon appeared in the right of the address bar and the page translated. Today the translate icon has disappeared. I cannot translate the page.
I have tried Language Settings - it did not work.
How to get the translate icon to be visible in address bar? Where did it go? I used the exact same SPO page.
All help appreciated! Thanks

What is the page language and which language do you want to translate to? Could you please provide a screenshot of the settings in this page edge://settings/languages?
Besides, you can open this page edge://translate-internals in Edge, then navigate to the SPO site. After navigation, please check every tab in this page edge://translate-internals, if there's any log about the SPO site under any tab, please provide the screenshot.

2023-02-23T19:02:26.9366667+00:00 Thank you. I was on a SPO communication EN site. In settings I was set in EN. I was pleasantly surprised the translation icon appeared in address bar and it did I wanted. I was able to select French and generated a Lists page in French. This was I wanted. I have been unable to recreate the experience. I have tried changing language settings to have FR, but now it is switching to the FR version of our site (which is a totally different look). Ideally, I want to generate the same look of the EN page.

I get your point and I think you have solved the original issue of the case. For the new question "How do I save this FR version as a new page", if you mean you want to browse the translated version directly in Edge, I think it's impossible. You can only translate the page every time you visit the site.
