Hi Team,

I had looked at the feature of Debug until in azure data factory pipeline debugging option but we do not have the option of debug only which will create a lot of problems when we try to test individual activity in a pipeline. It will be more help full if we have the debug-only option for particular pipeline activity.

    Hi @Lokesh Rajpoot ,

Thankyou for using Microsoft Q&A platform and thanks for posting your question here.

I understand that you are looking for a feature to debug only a particular activity in a pipeline. Currently, only the Debug Until feature is available in Azure Data Factory and Azure Synapse, which allows you to debug a pipeline until you reach a particular activity on the pipeline canvas. You can set a breakpoint on the activity until which you want to test, and select Debug. The service ensures that the pipeline runs only until the breakpoint activity on the pipeline canvas.

You can refer more on Setting breakpoints for debugging the pipeline here in the documentation: Setting breakpoints | Microsoft Documentation

As it's a feature request , I would appreciate if you could share the feedback on our Azure data factory feedback channel, which would be open for the user community to upvote & comment on. This allows our product team to effectively prioritize your request against our existing feature backlog and gives insight into the potential impact of implementing the suggested feature.
