I have a requirement to block a specific office add-in for a group of users so that they can't use it when they directly install from Office store.

I have gone through the below documentation which provides steps to block the Office store access for all users. This will block all the add-ins for all the users which I don’t want.

https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/admin/manage/manage-addins-in-the-admin-center?view=o365-worldwide

Is there a way to block a specific add-in for a group of users ?

Microsoft 365 and Office | Development | Other
Microsoft 365 and Office | Install, redeem, activate | For business | Windows
Microsoft Security | Intune | Configuration Manager | Deployment

You need to deploy it first then you can define the access. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/admin/manage/manage-addins-in-the-admin-center?view=o365-worldwide#edit-add-in-access

So deploy it then exclude the group of users and then it should be fine.
