We are running an ORACLE RAC 12c (2 nodes) connected via iScsi to a Nutanix cluster. More and more we are getting iScsiPrt errors (Eventids : 1,129,39,20,7,49), followed by disk Warnings (eventid : 157) and causing unexpected shutdown of the server. Any suggestions on the cause and how to resolve the issue?

    Hello there,

iSCSI uses port 3260, can you connect to that port from the server to the target?

Can you ping the target IP addresses?

On your computer, there may be a loose port/cable or faulty hard disk, leading to the event ID 157 disk has been surprisingly removed. You can go physically check the connection of the hard drive.

Hope this resolves your Query !!
