There are two machines, one located in the company and one at home for remote access. Both machines are Windows 11 and updated to the latest version. The company's machine has remote login enabled and the VSCODE editor (or any text input editor) is opened, with the input method switched to Microsoft Pinyin, which is the Chinese input method in Microsoft's input method.

When using remote login to access the company's machine from home using Microsoft's built-in remote login tool (RDP), it can be logged in normally, but when opening VSCODE that has already been opened on the remote machine, it is found that it cannot input. At this time, pressing Win + Space to switch input method will allow normal use.

This problem has existed for a long time and is a reproducible issue.

    Hello there,

You can work around this by disabling the UDP session used by MSTSC on your affected computer (the one where they're running the Remote Desktop client).

    -Run gpedit.msc.

-Navigate to Computer Configuration > Administration Templates > Windows Components > Remote Desktop Services > Remote Desktop Connection Client.

-Set the "Turn Off UDP On Client" setting to Enabled.

Hope this resolves your Query !!

I found the issue is gone when I switched to compatible mode(Use previous version of Microsoft Pinyin) in language settings.
