Impossible to delete Print-Scan-Server role

Hi,

on a fresh installed WSE16, I'm stuck with a role impossible to delete.

The one concerned is Print-Scan-Server only (all others are working fine and able to be added or deleted)

Have tried with server manager first, then it hang up at 58%

Then tried with Powershell same hang at 60%

erreur suppression role

Server Boot system is on a Raid0 SSD 2*1TB, Server is running on HP Z230 hardware and with 32 ECC GB RAM.

I did a SFC /scannow (with nothing seen corrupted)

I did also a DISM /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth (without any problem displayed)

I'm out of ideas in my surface knowledge about WS16, so if you have some lights into that kind of behavior and want to share, you are welcome.

    You can also try a repair install by running setup.exe from the root of the install media but time may be better spent standing up a new one, patch fully, migrate roles over and move on.

    Thanks Dave,

    Finally I did a complete reinstall, one more, and now all seems to work fine, until the next buggy problem.

    It seems to me MS servers are really easily subject to problems you never understand where they come from, even with fresh install.

    I need to use this for work but how far it is from my expectations. Nearly every small change need to reboot.

    I'm asking if Microsoft gave server OS DEV project to junior unpaid trainees, when you get something fine on the first try it seems more a random exception than the default way.

    I'm really not impressed .
