Refund Declined

Question

I recently purchased a game, Borderlands 3, with a friend. We both played it for less than one hour before deciding that it was a waste of money. Shortly after, we both requested a full refund; mine got denied while his got accepted. The reason stated was that digital items that have been played or used can not be refunded. This has to be a mistake as I have refunded multiple games that I have played for less than an hour in the past. I want my money back. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.
