Hi,

We are looking to upgrade our Azure AD connect servers to last version.

What's the best practice to perform this upgrade.

    Hi @Lulu

Before stating the upgrade you should backup your servers.

You can export all your azure AD connect settings , to be able to rebuild the server in case of issue.

Start the upgrade on staging server , if the upgrade is ok , you can disable the staging mode on it and enabled it on the other server before launch its upgrade.

    HI Lulu,

Have you looked at this link?

I personally would just do it manually since you likely only have a few servers to do this on.

For validation, I would just create a new AD user and verify it was added to Azure AD after a short period.

    Good luck.
