Using Authenticator and continually getting several unsuccessful sync attempts on getting into my account

I’m always getting attempts at getting into my account from various countries around the world. It was saying wrong password. So I started using Authenticator and removed the password as this was suggested for added security. However I’ve logged in this morning and I’m still getting attempts. There were 5 attempts under unsuccessful sync for various countries. How do I stop these attempts and should I be worried or changing something else?

Using multifactor authentication for your organisation is a must. As you’ve already set this up. I would advise to configure a conditional access to block logins from certain countries.

Conditional Access - Block access by location - Azure Active Directory - Microsoft Entra | Microsoft Learn
