Lost MFA for the only administrator of azure portal

Hello there,

I have a work/school account with a azure portal for my domain. I am the only administrator of this portal also the only member !

I have removed from my mobile apps Authenticator my work/school account of this domain. There is no other mfa method set for this account in this domain.

I'd like to sign in my account again, in order also to manage my azure portal, but there is no chance since I cannot access to my mfa code since the account has been removed from my mobile authenticator apps.

How can I recover my account that has been protected with a unique mfa method (apps) and which has been deleted from my mobile apps ?

Thank you for your help

Andreas

    Hi,

Unfortunately you cannot do anything, the only option is to log a call with Microsoft and someone should be able to get in touch with you to reset the MFA. this will include providing a proof that you own the domain, tenant, provide a verified mail ID.

Get in touch over here via the global numbers - Contact Info

    Hope this helps.

    Hello Marshaljs,

    Thank you for your message.

While the phone do not answer and redirect me to help.microsoft.com and since I need to have access to my account & azure portal to create a ticket, I am still stucked and I don't see how to fix this with microsoft unless I go personnaly in one of their offices to submit my issue.

    Terrible service....
