Hi Microsoft Team,
Could you please confirm, the redistributable installer for Microsoft ODBC Driver for SQL Server
available at link Download ODBC driver for SQL is it free to install or does users need to purchase SQL Server license to get it installed. The 'IT' team in my organization states, to install the SQL ODBC driver, the users need to purchase the entire SQL Server package.
Please confirm.
Also if the answer to above question is that it is free to install without purchasing the SQL Server license, could you please provide me an email address on which I can drop an email and get reply from Microsoft to share it with my IT team.
Thanks
SP
