Mixed 16 core license pack and 2 core license pack for 18 cores physical server

I have a problem

I have 1 CPUs with physical 18 cores, as i known that i can buy in way below

• 9 * Windows Server 2022 Standard - 2 Core License Pack = 18 Cores Or we can buy this way ?
• 1 Windows Server 2022 Standard - 16 Core License Pack + 1 Windows Server 2022 Standard - 2 Core License Pack = 18 Cores I need to know if my purchase the second way is correct ? Because if we have a huge server with so many physical Cores, we must buy so many Windows Server 2022 Standard - 2 Core License Pack or we could mixed 2 of this License ( buy both 16 pack and 2 pack ) then activate into 1 physical server

That is actually correct. you can activate it into one physical server so all the 18 cores can be licensed.

The 9 * Windows Server 2022 Standard - 2 Core License Pack and 1 Windows Server 2022 Standard - 16 Core License Pack + 1 Windows Server 2022 Standard - 2 Core License Pack either of these could work.
