User wise Quota

I am looking for a solution like a folder redirection with a limit of 2GB. The domain users' desktop and documents files want to save to the server automatically. This is my requirement. Now I have enabled folder redirection but there is no limit so users occupy all the allocated space in the server.

As per my knowledge for the FSRM solution, I need to create folders manually for all users. Our network has more than 1000 users so it will be difficult for me. And I don't want to allow domain admins to view users' files.

Hi. Thank you for your question and reaching out. I’d be more than happy to help you with your query

You can use both the folder redirection and also the disk quotas. You will have to enable the folder first for the redirection so if a user logs in, the document files will be saved to the server automatically. After that, you can configure the disk quotas so each users will have maximum 2GB quota. Lastly, try accessing the ACLs so it will prevent the domain admins to view the users files. You can do this by setting a permission in the user folder.
