Not enough storage space on Outlook but plenty on email?

What is going on here? It says I don't have storage for Outlook, but I do for email. User's image

Welcome to our forum!

This is expected behavior. According to the below official article, we can find that:

You have 5 GB of free cloud storage with your Microsoft account shared across your files and photos in OneDrive, attachments in Outlook.com and your Microsoft 365 apps. You also get 15 GB of free Outlook.com email storage which is separate from your Microsoft cloud storage.

hey @ChristyZhang-MSFT I do not get it.

I also have 8GB occupied - all in outlook emails.

It says I have 15GB for emails (but of course the cloud 5GB is exceeded) !!

WHY ?

Are you forcing users to buy onecloud storage this way ??
