Hello,
I have a query regarding application (and policy) assignments in Intune.
When I have applications/policies assigned to devices (rather than to users) what is the reason for the device install status reporting for the user as well as for the system?
In the examples below there is no user assignment, just assignment to groups containing devices
In the case of the configuration profiles the update times are identical.
This does not appear to be causing any issues, just keen to understand the reason?

When you apply a policy to a device based group, all user profiles will receive the policies. Including the default system profile.
