Purview DLP - Policy tips not displayed in Outlook

I'm testing DLP policies in Purview - specifically with Exchange Online

I've set a policy up and custom policy tip as per the below:

The policy tip works fine in OWA, but not in Outlook

It's my understanding that the following conditions will allow policy tips to be displayed in supported versions of Outlook - which to my knowledge is what I have set up in the DLP rule

Also, I have noted the following warning banner in OWA - which I have not specified.

Can anyone advise where this is set?

    I did some testing in my environment and got the same results as you.

    In my tests and in the use of other users, it means the same as in your situation:

    DLP Policy tips not working in Outlook. Works just fine in OWA. (microsoft.com)

    According to my research this seems to be related to the version of the Outlook client, if you can please modify the version of mso20win32client.dll  in the registry to see if there is a change:
