Can Intune manage systems deployed in ADDS without write back enabled?

Hi All,

I'm struggling with this and was hoping that someone could help set me straight. My organization is not allowing us to setup write back from our AzureAD to our On Prem AD at this time. This is proving difficult for Intune deployment. In this situation the only way to get intune working with ADDS devices to setup a Configuration Manager instance and use Co-Management?

    All you should need is devices synchronised with AAD for default attributes and HAADJ identity with MDM auto enrollment enabled.
