How to fix windows update (0x80070424)

I did everything you said but it doesnt work and when i restart the cumputer and when i go to Update Windows it wont update and it trows the same error

    Issue reported: Windows Update error: 0x80070424

    Please follow below mentioned troubleshooting steps and update on this thread.

    • Try to remove third party security software/antivirus and delete associated folders in the base drive.
    • Clear off temporary files and run disk clean up.
    • Then perform an SFC scan.

    Type ‘cmd’ in the search box and right click on command prompt and click on run as administrator.

    Then Type ‘SFC /scannow and hit enter.

    The scan will take some time to complete until it gives you a result of the scan.

    Then restart your machine.

    • Once the machine is restarted, please follow steps listed on a below mentioned link.
