how to fix printer spooler. system says it's not working but when I check it said it is

the system downloaded an update and sense then I cannot print. running a troubleshooter shows nothing. then it will tell me printer spooler not running. so, I go to services, and it shows its running. How do I fix this?

Thank you for your question and reaching out. I can understand you are  having query\issues related  to Printer spooler.

1. Please reboot your computer and Printer

2. Go to  %WINDIR%\system32\spool\printers and Delete all files - > Reboot your computer 

3. Disable any Antivirus program or Windows firewall you may have for temporary purpose.

4. Cleanup below Temp folders location -> Open Start -> Run -> Type below location one-by-one and press enter 
    ->  C:\Windows\Temp
    ->   %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\Temp
