Where do I get the QR code for setting up the Authenticator app?

All of my school accounts are connected through Microsoft 365. They logged me out of the school accounts and when I try to log in to my school website, it asks me to Approve Sign-in Request on the Microsoft Authenticator app and input two numbers, therefore verifying my identity. When I access my school account on the authenticator app - it only gives me one option and it's to Set Up 2-Step Verification, which required me to scan a QR Code with my phone. The website believes I have already set up the 2-Step Verification, but the app says it hasn't been set up yet and is asking for a QR Code the school login isn't giving me. It's a never-ending stalemate and I can't access any of my school materials until it's resolved. Please help.

    Hello Mary,

If it says you already have it set up you will need to contact your school's IT administrator (or department). They can reset your contact methods and you can restart the process.
