Azure Virtual Desktop - Teams AVD Media Optimized - no Large Gallery available

Question

When using Teams within our Azure Virtual Desktop, the Large Galley view is never available. (even when on a call with more than 10 participants)

I have trued to research if this is a deliberate exclusion but I cant find anything. I have a list of AVD Media optimised features, but it doesnt say anything about galleries at all.

I have found things like adding corporate backgrounds also doesnt work. is there anywhere where I can see a comparison between standard MS Teams install versus AVD Media Optimised ?

The Large Gallery view is not supported in Teams on Azure Virtual Desktop. You can find the supported features for Teams on Azure Virtual Desktop in the following link:

As far as i know there isn't a comparison document between standard MS Teams installations versus AVD Media Optimized.
