In the backend SQL nodes are X, Y for the cluster and they have changed to P, Q

and it is over, I have validated the SharePoint application and verified the services, all are fine.

and I tried to ping SQL server from SHarePoint server, it is replying and it is fine.

so do I need to check anything further? and is it mandatory to check SQL server connectivity? Please suggest ( Because SharePoint sites are loading fine, I could create the sub site etc.)

However when I tried to check the SQL connectivity, from below blog is it needed? Please confirm

https://www.sharepointdiary.com/2014/08/how-to-check-sql-server-connectivity-from-sharepoint.html

First one is giving message telnet is giving error as below

second approach is giving all values but it is giving FALSE for the connection even though SQL server is able to ping from SHarePoint server, not sure why.

third approach with script also giving error like below

    Hi @sns ,

I consulted a professional sql support team for you, after our discussion, your environment seems to be fine, and all services are normal. We don't think you need additional validation checks. Do not worry.
