Hi All,

I have SSIS DB source connected produce data in excel file destination. Before load in the data, I have Exceute SQL task to create table under connection type EXCEL. Why do my SSIS is failing to in create table task? I have setup a dynamic file which for excel file path:D:\ and excel version number:4. When I try run it give me error connection manager not set properly or permission error. I think I don't have the permission error since I can move file using file system task. Any other thing I should check

    Hi @jn93,

I could re-produce the issue as shown below.

I found that my excel is read-only so that the package fail, you may also double check the excel or create a new excel file for a try to see if the issue is occurred by the special file.

If this do not work, try to set Runas64Bit project property as TRUE.

    Regards,

    Zoe Hui
