How to reset iPhone after restart?

Hi all,

from time to time we from the IT got iPhones back form employees who leaved the company.

The iPhone is in the Apple DEP connected with Intune.

Problem is that the iPhone is turned off and we have not the passcode for the device. How is it possible to reset the passcode or reset the iPhone if there is no connection to Intune. WiFi is turnend on after the passcode is unlocked the phone.

    @Wolfgang AFAIK there is an option to clear the device that are not active - https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/mem/intune/remote-actions/devices-wipe

    Also it seems you have activation lock enabled? Can you check and confirm if that is teh case - https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/mem/intune/remote-actions/device-activation-lock-disable
