When I change/update an occurrence of a recurring meeting, forwarded invitees are removed

I am the organizer of a recurring meeting. The original attendees (both required and optional) forward the meeting to other members of their team. If I change a single occurrence of the meeting, the people that were forwarded the meeting are removed from the meeting. How to I prevent auto-removing attendees that I didn't add, but my team added via forwarding?

    Hi @mwell ,

    Welcome to our forum!

How did you update a single occurrence of the meeting?

Based on my test, i found that when i try to update a single occurrence of the meeting, i can find the person who was forwarded to is placed in the Optional field. And after i send the update message, the updated single occurrence of the meeting is both displayed in the calendar of the meeting recipients and the person who was forwarded to.

So please check Optional field before you sent the meeting update messages.
