How can we set up "follow me" printing in Universal Print so that it's like ( or uses ) PaperCut?

We currently have a traditional print server. We'd like to transition to Universal Print. Our existing print server has an app called PaperCut which aggregates all the printers into a single print queue, and manages the keypads that are connected to the individual printers - "follow-me" printing is what it's called: people submit jobs to the one print queue and then go to any printer with a keypad registered in PaperCut, and enter their employee number to print at that printer.

Is there a way to emulate or replace "follow me" printing in Universal Print so that we can ditch PaperCut?

    Hi @Scott Hill

I work at PaperCut and we teamed up with Microsoft to create a connector for Universal Print.

Legally, we can publish any of that Follow stuff. PaperCut uses Find-Me printing. I do think I would rather be found than followed.....

Microsoft does not support print job redirection or any concept of a central hold queue with Universal Print. Microsoft prints all the jobs as SYSTEM so the job owner is gone anyway.

I am hoping you are aware of the PaperCut Connector. https://www.papercut.com/help/manuals/ng-mf/applicationserver/mobile-universal-print/

    Thanks
