I have created a Redhat vm (pay as you go) and like to have the following yum (dnf) repos:

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 Server (RPMs)
  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 Server - Optional (RPMs)

If I go through subscription manager, I would be double charged for Redhat which is not reasonable.
Is there a way to get these repos on pay as you go plan or I should switch to Redhat golden image and bring-your-own-subscription (BOYS) ?

    @Mahdi Abdinejadi

    Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) Pay-As-You-Go (PAYG) images come preconfigured to access Azure RHUI repositories. If you register your PAYG VM with Subscription Manager you will be charged for both, so this is not recommended. If you consistently need to use an update infrastructure other than Azure-hosted RHUI, consider registering to use the RHEL BYOS images.

    Hope this helps! Let me know if you still have questions.
