Sign out and sign in again with a different Azure Active Directory user account

Hello,

Last year, I was added as a guest on a client's Team. I initially had no issues accessing the Team, but then my free trial of Teams ended and I was no longer able to access. Now I have a paid subscription to Teams, and I keep getting this error code when I try to access my client's Team as a guest:

"AADSTS90072: User account 'carrie.lindgren@asisignage.com' from identity provider 'https://sts.windows.net/4589ed4f-454f-4f14-82f8-caaabf0e303f/' does not exist in tenant 'Kettering Health' and cannot access the application '1fec8e78-bce4-4aaf-ab1b-5451cc387264'(Microsoft Teams) in that tenant. The account needs to be added as an external user in the tenant first. Sign out and sign in again with a different Azure Active Directory user account"

Do I have an orphaned Azure Active Directory user account due to my previous free trial ending?

I am hoping this is an easy fix that I am just not seeing. Can anyone help me?

    Hi @Carrie L

Do you have the same problem with the Teams web client?

Can't you log in with your personal account?

According to the error message, the user can't satisfy the MFA requirements for the tenant. This error also might occur if the users are synced, but there is a mismatch in the ImmutableID (sourceAnchor) attribute between Active Directory and Azure AD. The account must be added as an external user in the tenant first. Sign out and sign in with a different Azure AD user account. For more information, please visit configuring external identities.

Also, please contact your organization administrator to run the following tests to detect issues with your account.

    1. Select the following button to populate the diagnostic in the Microsoft 365 admin center: Run Tests: Teams Sign-in
    2. In the User Name or Email Address field, enter the email address of the user who's experiencing the Teams sign-in issue.
