SharePoint 2016: Paste hyperlink in enhanced richtext field

Question

When i paste a hyperlink in a richtext-field with IE11, it is automatically converted to a link.

But with Edge it is just pasted as plain text.

Is there a way to do it like the IE11.

Hi @Thomas Stessl,

This is by default as per my knowledge as Edge uses a different kernel from IE. Also, I tried to find if any 3rd party add-in may support your requirement but failed. I'm afraid there is currently no way to achieve this.
