OneNote Desktop Error On Embedded SharePoint Files "Please sign in to view this file"

Hello,
As the title says, whenever I paste a sharepoint link from one of my OneDrive files (like a Word or PowerPoint file) it gives me this error in the desktop version of OneNote: "Please sign in to view this file"
However, when I view the file in the web version of OneNote it works fine.
How can I fix this error? I have tried clicking "Sign in" but the button just loads a tab in my browser and quickly closes it again and does not help.

Tim Lennon 5 Reputation points2023-08-18T04:10:49.92+00:00 I had the same problem. I right clicked on the embedded PowerPoint and then inspect. Once there right clicked on the iframe and open in new tab. It signed me into SharePoint and all my embedded PowerPoints now appear.

Thomas Bauer 0 Reputation points2023-12-07T12:15:46.3066667+00:00 I spent hours on this now. Installed OneNote. Installed OneNote for Win 10. Deinstalled. Even used odd MS browsers.
All our diagrams are not showing up anymore. And Microsoft doesnt seem to care. Very disappointing.
If our company just switches back to Attlasian suite, Draw.IO will be rendered perfectly in Confluence.
Shame.
Edit: in our Teams Integration of OneNote, the browser shows "Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'webAbsoluteUrl')" in the console, after clicking on the "Log In" button of the embedded diagram screen.
