Hi the DNS within AADDS is self contained to the managed domain:
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/active-directory-domain-services/manage-dns
It only provides DNS for the managed domain however.
This browser is no longer supported.
Upgrade to Microsoft Edge to take advantage of the latest features, security updates, and technical support.
Hi Community!
Can we consider or use MS Active Directory Domain Services (ADDS) as a Domain registrar instead of using any external Domain Service Provider because I don't want to Buy/purchase basically I have Oracle VirtualBox Setup wherein I created 2 server and 1 client machine out that 1 server I have installed ADDS services and prompted that server as domain controller so ultimately I got a domain and that domain I would like to integrate with Azure AD or AWS route 53 just for LAB/Education Purpose more importantly I would like to use AWS route53 services in that I would like to use this my LAB created domain name.
I know it's not at all possible but just to stimulate a lab is it possible any workaround please suggest?
