Split RDS CAL license for new deployment

Hi, one of my customer purchase RDS Cal license for 8 Users, they need to use it for 2 RDS session host server. Is it possible to split the license to 2 server (1 for 4 user and another 1 for 4 users)?

    Thank you for your question and reaching out. I can understand you are having query\issues related to RDS cals.

    Yes , It is supported to split RDS CALs, then migrate part of RDS CALs to another RD Licensing server.

    If you wish to split existing RDS CAL, one pack, half on one server and half on another server, you can rebuild current RD Licensing database, then, re-install RDS CALs on both licensing server, with appropriate CALs number entered.
