1, Could you please describe your scenario for more details? How dose you get this state? Are you deploying any updates or apps?

2, ConfigMgr client status is shown as unknown means, the site server (or MP) is not able to connect to the client via the fast channel. There could be several reasons for the unknown status, the communication between client and server is not in place. We may refer to the following link to troubleshooting:
