Azure Synapse Analytics - Can not create SSIS IR

According to the documentation, the SSIS Integration Runtime is in public preview for Azure Synapse Analytics and I should be able to create an SSIS IR in the management tab (https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/data-factory/create-azure-ssis-integration-runtime-portal?tabs=synapse-analytics). However, I can only choose to create either an Azure or self hosted IR. I can not specify the "type" or select SSIS anywhere. Similarly, in pipeline creation, I do not see the "Execute SSIS package" activity, which is displayed, e.g., in this tutorial https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PdsnoDnEDJI&t=164s

Our Synapse workspace (West Europe) has data exfiltration protection enabled. It is therefore part of a managed vnet. Is this maybe a limitation that is missing in the documentation, such that the public preview functionality is missing? Do I need to activate this feature set somewhere? I could not find any information on this.

Turns out I had an outdated IP enabled for workspace access. The creation wizard shows the SSIS option only with a correct IP whitelist. Strange behavior.

This is a bug. Fix should be available this month. Would you please open support ticket if you still experience this issue after?

    Thank you for the feedback.
