Can you delete the device in Azure and let it resync?
Azure AD Sync - Computer Joined to Local AD, Synced to Azure has old hostname

We have AD sync setup between our on Prem AD servers and Azure
A computer has had its hostname changed however the synced object has not changed its name in azure AD
There are no errors on the sync tool.
how can i get the Azure AD object name updated

2023-03-29T10:18:39.53+00:00 We have deleted the device from Azure AD and run a full synchronization but we are not seeing the machine appear in Azure AD.
Does it take a certain time cycle for it to appear?

We checked the Hostname of the machine locally, this matched local Active directory.
The old hostname was showing on Azure AD.We deleted the machine from Azure AD.
The user was prompted to re enter 365 credentials, this did nothing
We then Disconnected from the Azure AD under "Work / School Access"
We then Re-connected to Azure AD under "Work / School Access"
The Pc then shows up in azure AD with the right hostname and the ADsync works.
