Assume, I already have 400 users in my Active directory, where everyone lives in New York, but they all planned to move to California. I only have one server, I dont want to buy another server, I just want to move this server to California too. So what do I need to change?
Example of current IP in New York is:
DNS Server: 192.168.128.130
Now, if I go to California the network will get changed, and domain added computers wont be under same network I think, so what should I do, to make everything work same like before?
Or lets say you want to move your server from your house to your friend house, but his network ip is different.
Note: Everything was already set in your house.
If the subnet changes, then along with readdressing the server also recreate the reverse lookup zone.
